Villanova Offers 2028 Combo Guard Billy Stanfield III

Villanova Men’s Basketball offered 2028 combo guard Billy Stanfield III,  a 6-foot-6 prospect out of Maryland’s Calvert Hall College High School, per a report from Sam Kayser of LeagueRDY. Stanfield confirmed the offer in an Instagram post.

Stanfield describes himself as a combo guard, but recruiting sites have him listed anywhere from shooting guard to wing. Given that he’s only a rising sophomore, another growth spurt — and subsequent position switch — isn’t out of the realm of possibility for Stanfield.

He also holds offers from Mississippi State, TCU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and West Virginia. Stanfield averaged 12.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game as a freshman, using his height and athleticism to box out or swat opponents. While not yet ranked as a recruit, that should change soon as Stanfield continues to pick up offers and put himself on the map.
