Villanova Men’s Basketball still has as many as six open spots on their 2026-27 roster — although they likely won’t fill all of their reserve spots — and one of their potential targets is Robert Morris transfer and former four-star recruit Josh Hill, per a report from Tobias Bass of The Athletic.

A 6-foot-11, 200 pound rising junior, Hill averaged 17 minutes per game across 22 appearances with the Colonials last season, putting up 7.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in that span. He took 42.8 percent of his shots from three, making 29 percent of them and providing a limited degree of floor-stretching ability. Hill also played his freshman season at Arkansas State.

Per Bass’ report, Ole Miss, Seton Hall, FIU and Fresno State are the other schools involved in Hill’s recruiting; he added Villanova to the list in a later tweet. Given Hill’s performance in the Horizon League, he’d likely serve as a reserve stretch four playing somewhere in the five to ten minute realm for Villanova. With two seasons of eligibility remaining, however, Hill has time to grow his game.
