Villanova Men’s Basketball recruiting target Chase Foster, the No. 39 player in ESPN’s Class of 2026, will announce his commitment in a live streamed ceremony at 1 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Oct. 15. Foster, a 6-foot-7 power forward out of Baltimore, Md., currently attends Florida’s prestigious IMG Academy.

His ceremony will take place on the CBS Sports College Basketball YouTube channel, linked here. Per a report from Sam Kayser of League Ready, Foster has narrowed his college selection down to five schools, Villanova among them. The other four are Texas A&M, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Pitt.

Foster’s ties to Villanova’s coaching staff date back to March 2024, when he received an offer from the Maryland Terrapins, new Wildcats head coach Kevin Willard’s former school. The transplanted staff then reconnected with Foster over the summer, issuing him an offer to Villanova in July 2025. He reportedly then scheduled an official visit to the Wildcats in August.

A consensus four-star recruit, Foster averaged close to 20 points and 8 rebounds per game in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) over the summer.
