Villanova Football Picks Up 2026 QB Commit Nolan DiLucia

Villanova football may have picked up their quarterback of the future on Saturday, May 10, earning the commitment of Peters Township quarterback Nolan DiLucia. He received his official offer from Villanova football the day prior, and wasted little time in making his decision.
DiLucia, a rising senior, led the Indians to the state championship game as a sophomore in 2023, where they fell to a stacked Imhotep Charter roster. He stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 205 pounds, completing 174-of-270 passes for 2,525 yards and 23 touchdowns to just eight interceptions last season.
DiLucia possesses a solid arm and sneaky mobility, and his ability as a leader shouldn’t be understated: he’s helped turn Peters Township, a perennial afterthought, into a legitimate state contender. Choosing the Wildcats over offers from Miami (OH), Fordham, Yale, Lehigh, Cornell, Penn, Towson and Princeton, DiLucia told our partner site, Pittsburgh Sports Now, that the Villanova football offer was a no-brainer.
“Being a Wildcat is Such a Blessing”
“Me and my family sat down and talked over about how Villanova is very high in academics and football, so being a Wildcat is such a blessing,” DiLucia said.
He cited Wildcats’ area recruiter Chris Pagan as playing a major role in his recruiting.
“Coach Pagan is the area recruiter and he has been on me for two years now and I just talked to him a lot. I visited campus in the spring and enjoyed the campus and my time meeting the staff. Once I worked out for Coach Boden in the spring I just knew it was a great opportunity and my place,” DiLucia said. “I visited in May for a practice and enjoyed that visit a lot… I met with all the coaches and saw the experience in the spring.”
