Phillies affiliates went 2-2 on Friday, June 5, with 20-year-old right-hander Ramon Marquez continuing to excel for Single-A Clearwater as the Threshers eked out a 5-4 win.

Marquez fanned nine batters in 5.1 innings, allowing two runs (one earned) and throwing 78 pitches. His ERA sits at 1.50 through 24 innings to begin 2026. Wilmer Blanco recorded four outs for the save, while first baseman Alirio Ferrebus hit a two-run homer that proved the difference; second baseman Robert Phelps continued to come in clutch with a two-run single.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley won 4-2, Otto Kemp hitting a solo home run in the eighth to provide much-needed insurance. 27-year-old Seth Johnson notched his sixth save of the season, working around two hits with two strikeouts and dropping his Triple-A ERA to 1.48 this season (24.1 innings).

Double-A Reading lost 5-4 in extras. Shortstop Bryan Rincon hit a two-run homer, the Fightin Phils’ only offense in the first nine innings; center fielder Dylan Campbell doubled, while Dante Nori (1-for-3 with a walk) and catcher Kehden Hettiger (2-for-4) both reached base twice.

High-A Jersey Shore lost 6-3, Saint Joseph’s alumnus Luke Gabrysh ending up on the wrong end of a Nick Biddison fielding error that led to a four-run third. Gabrysh struck out six batters in five innings (81 pitches) and didn’t allow a single earned run; four baserunners still crossed, however.

Catcher/designated hitter Kodey Shojinaga (2-for-3 with a walk) and shortstop Trent Farquhar both doubled, as did rehabbing center fielder Pedro León.
