Double-A Reading won 3-1. Designated hitter Alex Binelas (1-for-3 with a walk) hit his 15th home run of the season, and shortstop Bryan Rincon plated runs with a double and an RBI groundout. Left-handed starter Adam Seminaris allowed three hits over seven innings, striking out seven batters and holding the league-leading Hartford Yard Goats to one run; Christian McGowan earned the save on a night off for Alex McFarlane.
