Details continue to filter out about Villanova Men’s Basketball’s 2026-27 out-of-conference schedule, with the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights listing a matchup with the Wildcats on Wednesday, Dec. 9. As of right now, there’s no opening tip-off time listed for the matchup.

Villanova holds an all-time record of 3-0 against the Knights, last beating them in December 2024. Fairleigh Dickinson played to an 11-21 record last season under third-year head coach Jack Castleberry, who holds a 39-58 record at the helm but has managed to coach .500 ball (25-25) in Northeast Conference play. The Wildcats are trying to build on an NCAA Tournament berth in their first season under head coach Kevin Willard.

Villanova brought in the nation’s No. 23 transfer class and recruited 7-foot-3 Italian center Luigi Suigo, so they should have plenty of buzz heading into the 2026-27 campaign. As of right now, they have opponents finalized for 27 of 31 regular season games: home-and-home series with each of their ten Big East foes, home dates against Coppin State (Nov. 24) and Michigan, neutral site games against Notre Dame (Nov. 1) and Wisconsin (Dec. 12) as well as road games at Pitt (Nov. 17) and Kansas (Nov. 27).

The Wildcats will play a trio of games against Philadelphia Big 5 foes, leaving just one opponent entirely up in the air, but those matchups have yet to be announced.
