Villanova Men’s Basketball Releases 2026-27 Non-Conference Slate

Villanova Men’s Basketball released their 2026-27 out-of-conference schedule in a Wednesday, Aug. 26 press release, giving dates for each of their first 12 games.

Previously unannounced opponents include Holy Cross, who they’ll face in their home opener, and Rider. The Wildcats will play a trio of exhibition games in October, including home dates against George Mason and Virginia; they faced off against the Cavaliers in Charlottesville, Va. during last year’s preseason. Villanova will host La Salle on Tuesday, Nov. 10 and travel to face Temple on Tuesday, Dec. 1 in Big 5 pod play; they’ll face one of Drexel, Penn and Saint Joseph’s at Xfinity Mobile Arena in the Big 5 Classic on Saturday, Dec. 5, depending how they perform against the Explorers and the Owls.

Here’s the full Villanova out-of-conference slate: opening tip-off times have yet to be announced.

Game 1: versus Notre Dame in Rome, Italy on Sunday, Nov. 1
Game 2: versus Holy Cross on Friday, Nov. 6
Game 3: versus La Salle on Tuesday, Nov. 10
Game 4: versus Rider on Saturday, Nov. 14
Game 5: at Pitt on Tuesday, Nov. 17
Game 6: versus Michigan at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday, Nov. 21
Game 7: versus Coppin State on Tuesday, Nov. 24
Game 8: at Kansas on Friday, Nov. 27
Game 9: at Temple on Tuesday, Dec. 1
Game 10: Big 5 Classic on Saturday, Dec. 5
Game 11: versus Fairleigh Dickinson on Wednesday, Dec. 9
Game 12: versus Wisconsin at Xfinity Mobile Arena (neutral site) on Saturday, Dec. 12
