Phillies prospects went 1-3 on Sunday, June 21, with starting pitcher and top 30 prospects member Jean Cabrera enduring another brutal start in Double-A. Cabrera allowed six earned runs in 4.2 innings, elevating his ERA to 9.79 since getting sent back down to Double-A. Bryson Ware and Pedro León each homered, accounting for most of the offense on a three-hit day for the Fightin Phils; they lost 7-4.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley lost 12-3, an Otto Kemp error aiding a four-run rally as the IronPigs fell behind early. Shortstop Christian Cairo (1-for-3 with a triple and a walk) and right fielder Bryan De La Cruz (2-for-4 with a double) gave the offense a jolt, but Lehigh Valley started too far behind the eight ball to mount a comeback.

High-A Jersey Shore walked it off 7-6, a two-run homer from Tyler Pettorini (2-for-5) sealing the win; center fielder Devin Saltiban added a triple and a home run. Single-A Clearwater concluded a rough week against the Bradenton Marauders with an 8-3 loss.

Juan Villavicencio (2-for-4 with a homer and a double) cleared the fences for the second time in three games; catcher Alirio Ferrebus went 2-for-4 with a double. 20-year-old left-hander Zuher Yousuf, a Phillies’ international signee out of Venezuela, went four innings, allowing two runs (one earned) and striking out five batters across 53 pitches.
