Philadelphia Area High School Basketball 2026 Recruiting Big Board

With the 2025 high school basketball recruiting cycle nearly concluded, it’s time to start tracking collegiate recruits in the Philadelphia area for the Class of 2026. As of right now, four Pennsylvania recruits garner at least a three-star ranking on one of the major recruiting sites; three of them have four stars.

Archbishop Carroll’s Luca Foster (No. 36) and Roman Catholic’s Sammy Jackson (No. 100) each landed on the ESPN Top 100 as four-star recruits, while 247Sports gives Mani Sajid of Plymouth-Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, Pa.) four stars as the No. 115 recruit in the nation. Sajid’s composite grade is No. 157.

6-6 shooting guard Ethan Johnston, a four-star out of The Hill School, is the other recruit to have a national ranking to date (No. 142 per 247Sports, No. 118 composite); rounding out the list are Zaahir Muhammad-Gray, a small forward out of Imhotep Charter, and Derrick Morton-Rivera, a shooting guard at Father Judge.

Philadelphia Area Recruiting Offers

Foster already has offers from Seton Hall, Pitt, Xavier, Miami, East Carolina, Villanova, Virginia Tech, Bryant, Albany, Penn State, Temple, and Saint Joseph’s.

Jackson has offers from Villanova, Arizona State, Auburn, FGCU, La Salle, Penn State, St. Joe’s and Vanderbilt. 

Johnston committed to Marquette over offers from Villanova, Maryland and Creighton, among others, while Morton-Rivera has offers from Fordham, Bryant, Temple and LaSalle.

Teams in on Muhammad-Gray’s recruiting include Georgia Tech, Penn State, Temple and LaSalle, while Sajid rounds out the list with offers from Temple, St. Joe’s and Bryant.
