Phillies affiliates went 2-2 on Sunday, June 28, with right-hander Andrew Painter making his return to action after the big league club sent him down to Triple-A in mid-June. Painter struck out four batters and allowed one run in four innings, landing just 44 of 80 pitches for strikes, but remained effective nonetheless.

The IronPigs lost 5-4, blowing a two-run lead in the late innings. Playing his 52nd game Triple-A game this season, Felix Reyes hit his 18th homer; catcher Paul McIntosh hit two singles, and center fielder Steward Berroa drew two walks.

Double-A Reading won 9-4, second baseman Aroon Escobar (1-for-2 with two walks) hitting his second home run in three games. Alex Binelas (2-for-5), Raylin Heredia (2-for-4 with a walk) and Erick Brito (2-for-5) all doubled; Wen-Hui Pan and Alex McFarlane contributed one scoreless inning apiece in relief.

High-A Jersey Shore lost 5-1, center fielder Devin Saltiban (1-for-3 with a homer and two walks) providing the lone run. Shortstop Tyler Pettorini added a double and a single, while starter Reese Dutton got tagged with the loss despite allowing just one run in five frames; the right-hander fanned seven batters. Gabe Craig pitched a scoreless eighth, maintaining his perfect ERA since joining the BlueClaws on June 16.

Single-A Clearwater won 5-4 via walkoff, Nathan Humphreys reaching on an error as the winning run crossed. Jonathan Hogart homered, starter Giussepe Velasquez fired four scoreless innings, and Phillies 2025 12th round pick Tyler Bowen blew his save opportunity with two runs in the eighth, setting up Humphreys’ heroics.
