After finishing with the second-best record in the Big East — and even with the juggernaut of No. 1 UConn to compete with — three Villanova Women’s Basketball players earned All-Conference honors for their performance during the 2025-26 regular season.

Sophomore guard Jasmine Bascoe earned a unanimous selection on the First Team after averaging a league-high 18.7 points per game along with 4.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists.

Junior forward Brynn McCurry earned a Second Team nod and the Most Improved Player of the Year award after injuries wiped out her entire 2024-25 campaign. McCurry worked her way back into the lineup early in the season and went on to put up 10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game, sinking 40.4 percent of her three-point shots as a versatile scorer.

True freshman Kennedy Henry also cleaned up a pair of awards, landing on the All-Freshman and All-Defensive teams. Henry hit the ground running as Villanova worked through early season injuries to McCurry and players like graduate transfer forward Kylee Watson, going on to do a bit of everything with 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.4 steals and 0.9 blocks in 28.5 minutes per night.

The Wildcats will begin their conference tournament run at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, facing the winner of the previous day’s game between No. 10 DePaul and No. 7 Providence. They swept both teams in the regular season.
