Villanova Women’s Basketball moved up in the voting for the Associated Press Top 25 poll published on Monday, March 2, setting a season-best with 19 points acquired, good for the No. 29 spot overall.

The Wildcats (23-6, 16-4 Big East) concluded their regular season with a dominant road win over Seton Hall, securing the No. 2 seed in the conference. They earned six points last week, tied for No. 32 overall. Villanova holds the No. 35 spot in the NET rankings and should have an NCAA Tournament bid all but locked up.

Villanova Men’s Basketball (22-7, 13-5 Big East) holds the No. 3 seed in the conference but slumped in the voting after St. John’s obliterated them 89-57 on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Wildcats earned just four points, landing them at No. 36 overall. Last week, they made it up to No. 28.

Like the women’s team, they have an NCAA Tournament bid secured with two regular season games remaining.
