Villanova Women’s Basketball Adds Legacy Wildcat Jada Lynch

Villanova Women’s Basketball earned the commitment of 2027 guard Jada Lynch, a legacy Wildcat who is the daughter of former men’s basketball standout Brian Lynch, on Monday, Sept. 28.

Jada Lynch stands six feet tall and has experience on the Belgian national team, as her father coaches overseas; Brian Lynch played for Villanova from 1996 to 2000, averaging 8.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game as a 6-foot-6 guard.

Lynch plays for the Westtown School in West Chester, Pa. and put up 14 points, six rebounds and five assists per game last season. She also played for St. Rose in New Jersey and has four stars and a prospect grade of 91 from ESPN. That puts her on the cusp of the Top 100 for her class. Lynch is Villanova’s third commit for the class of 2027, joining Lily Fisher and six foot tall center/power forward Lenise Joseph, who pledged to the Wildcats earlier this month.
