Villanova Men’s Basketball remains hard at work on the recruiting trail, tendering offers to a pair of Top 100 prospects last week: small forward Anthony Felesi of Hurricane, Utah and point guard Neiko Mundey of Olney, Maryland.

ESPN ranks Felesi as one of the top prospects in his class, putting the 6-foot-5, 180 pound wing in the No. 37 spot, just two slots behind another Villanova target and area prospect, Luca Foster of Radnor. Mundey sneaks inside the Top 100 at No. 97, a 6-foot-1, 160 pound lead guard. Per On3, BYU and Houston have a leg up in Felesi’s recruiting; Villanova possesses the best chance of landing Mundey, but with a 14.3 percent chance his future home is far from a given.

The Wildcats have communicated with Mundey for some time now, initially offering him in July 2024, but with a new regime under head coach Kevin Willard, they decided to remain in contact and reaffirm their interest. Although Mundey grew up in the Terrapins’ backyard roughly 30 minutes away from College Park, Willard and his staff didn’t offer him during their time at Maryland.

During his initial post thanking Villanova for their interest, Mundey mentioned Wildcats’ assistant Ashley Howard, the lone remaining member of Kyle Neptune’s former staff, as one of the principle factors in his recruiting.
