Villanova Offers 2028 5-Star Point Guard Michai White
Villanova continues to plan for future seasons with an offer to 2028 point guard Michai White, a six foot tall, 165 pound rising junior from Wolfeboro, N.H.
White announced his offer in an Instagram post.
White occupies the No. 17 spot on ESPN’s rankings for his class; both they, Rivals and 247Sports list him as a four-star recruit. Given his strong reputation across the major recruiting sites. 247Sports ranks White as a consensus five-star.
He also holds high major offers from Louisville, Maryland, Indiana, Penn State, Stanford and Northwestern. White told League Ready in 2025 that Arkansas is his dream school because of legendary head coach John Calipari’s history of developing top guard prospects, so the Razorbacks are a threat to watch as his high school career continues.
Already a gifted scorer and passer, White scored 36 points in his Nike Elite Youth Basketball debut on April 24. Villanova doesn’t yet have any commitments in the class of 2027 or 2028, but they’ve sent out recent offers to other top recruits like local center Logan Chwastyk (Malvern Prep).
