Villanova Men’s Basketball offered 2027 four-star shooting gaurd Lucai Anderson on Monday, March 16, per posts to Anderson’s social media accounts. He tagged Wildcats’ assistant coach Ricky Harris, who followed head coach Kevin Willard from Maryland, as the staff member who issued the offer.

ESPN and 247Sports list Anderson at 6-foot-3 and 170 pounds; in his offer post, he listed himself at 6-foot-5 and 190 pounds. While he suits up for Trinity Christian School in Lubbock, Texas, Anderson also gets reps on the European circuit and plays for the German National Team. His brother, Christian Anderson Jr., averaged 18.5 points per game for Texas Tech as a sophomore this past season. Their father, Christian Sr., played overseas in Europe.

Growing up with a former professional to learn from will help Lucai Anderson hone his game, but his experience in Europe could prove even more of an asset. Styles of play in college basketball mirror those of Europe far closer than those of high school basketball in the States, with an emphasis on passing and offensive flow rather than one-on-one skills showcases.

The only other offer Anderson has listed right now is Arizona State.
