Villanova Men’s Basketball Offers Top 100 Wing
Villanova Men’s Basketball reached out to another top prospect on Sunday, July 13, tendering an offer to consensus four-star wing Lucas Morillo.
The 6-foot-7 Morillo announced his offer via Twitter. He holds offers from close to a dozen other major conference programs including Illinois, Ole Miss, Stanford and Virginia. Most recruiting services rank him somewhere around the No. 80 spot for his class, with ESPN listing Moriollo at No. 76.
Currently playing as a combo guard (the 2 or 3 will likely turn out as his best fit in college), Morillo will attend the Newman School in Massachusetts next year. There, he’ll play alongside another Villanova target and top 100 recruit in 6-foot-9 center Quinn Costello. Morillo also plays for the Dominican Republic’s national team, and experience on the international circuit could help prepare him for the team-oriented college game.
While the Wildcats have picked up their recruiting efforts since the summer began, they haven’t managed to secure any members of the class of 2026 yet.
