Villanova Men’s Basketball 2024-25 Roster
After missing the NCAA Tournament in each of head coach Kyle Neptune’s first two years, Villanova Men’s Basketball enters a make-or-break 2024-25 season.
While the Wildcats get back one of the top players in the country in graduate forward Eric Dixon — who weighed entering the NBA Draft during the offseason but ultimately decided to return to Villanova for one last run — they began the season unranked for the first time since 2012. Those low expectations could be a blessing in disguise, giving the Wildcats a chip on their shoulder that encourages them to excel… or it could be another step down from prominence since the end of the Jay Wright era.
Of the 15 players on their roster this season, the Wildcats have three seniors and two graduate students, along with four freshman making their first appearances in navy blue and white. It’s an interesting combination of youth and experience that could help Villanova win now and build a foundation moving forward.
