Villanova Recruiting
Villanova Offers Towering 2027 4-Star Zion Green

They won’t land on campus for two more years, but Villanova Men’s Basketball is already putting out recruiting feelers for the class of 2027.
6-foot-9, 185 pound power forward Zion Green, the No. 20 prospect in his class per ESPN, received an offer from the Wildcats ahead of his sophomore season and posted a graphic to his Twitter account on Sunday, March 30 showing all the teams currently on the table for him. Besides the Wildcats, Green holds offers from Seton Hall, Michigan, UTEP, Penn State, Maryland, Syracuse and Kansas State.
That Maryland offer could come in handy for Villanova now that the Wildcats hired former Terrapins head coach Kevin Willard, adding another level of familiarity to help them court Green’s services.
Currently listed as a four star recruit, Green ranks as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania per ESPN. Already towering — conflicting sources list him anywhere between 6-foot-7 and 6-foot-10 — with two years left in his high school career, Green could stand to bulk up a bit but has plenty of time to gain muscle mass. He spent his freshman and part of his sophomore seasons at Philadelphia’s Imhotep Charter before transferring to Camden High School in January 2025. There he averaged 14.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game.
Other Villanova targets in Green’s class include Jeremy Jenkins, Moussa Kamissoko and Tyler Sutton (Roman Catholic), although the Wildcats’ coaching change could impact their recruiting strategy.
