Villanova Men’s Basketball will host two top recruits on unofficial visits during their Saturday, Feb. 21 game against No. 5 UConn at Xfinity Mobile Arena: 2028 four-stars Rowan Phillips and Carter Smith, per reports from Dushawn London of 247Sports.

Both hail from the Philadelphia area: Phillips, a 6-foot-6, 185 pound shooting guard, attends the Westtown School (West Chester, Pa.); Smith, a 6-foot-3, 160 pound combo guard, is a Philadelphia native enrolled at William Penn Charter.

247Sports ranks them as the No. 21 and No. 69 recruits in their class, respectively.

The Wildcats don’t have any recruits signed in the upcoming classes, but almost all of their current roster retains eligibility beyond this season, giving Villanova plenty of roster flexibility. They could bring on a new recruit soon, however, with 2026 four-star Adam Oumiddoch, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard, decommitting from St. John’s. The Wildcats made Oumiddoch’s top five ahead of his initial commitment, and On3 cites them as a team to watch during the second go-around.
