Villanova point guard Acaden Lewis earned the Big East’s Freshman of the Week Award after putting up 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists across two wins. Lewis picked up eight assists against Sacred Heart and set a season high with 19 points against Duquesne, adding six dishes in the process.

Redshirt sophomore Bryce Lindsay landed on the Big East’s weekly Honor Roll after averaging 22.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game, setting a program record with nine three-point shots made against Sacred Heart and finishing the week on a 12-of-22 clip from beyond the arc.

This marks the second week in a row on the Big East Honor Roll for Lindsay. He currently ranks as the No. 18 scorer in the nation with 23 points per game, helping Villanova surge up the KenPom Ratings during their three game winning streak. He’s also earning NBA hype after his red-hot start to the season.

Up next, Villanova will begin Big 5 play, traveling to La Salle on Wednesday, Nov. 19.
