Villanova Men’s Basketball made the top nine for 2026 four-star recruit and ESPN top 30 prospect Luca Foster, per a report from Joe Tipton of Rivals.

Foster, a 6-foot-5, 170 pound wing, grew up just down the road from the Wildcats in Radnor, Pa. He began his high school career at Archbishop Carroll, but will spend his final season at the Link Academy, a basketball prep school in Missouri. Back in May, Foster said that Villanova assistant coach Ashley Howard was pushing hard to recruit him, a relationship that could help the Wildcats bring one of the top players in the class of 2026 into the fold.

The other eight teams to make Foster’s list are Oklahoma, Pitt, Georgetown, Virginia, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and Gonzaga. Villanova’s logo came first on the graphic Tipton created, which could indicate that the Wildcats are his favored choice. Only time will tell.
