Report: Villanova Forward Jordann Dumont Elects to Transfer

Villanova Men’s Basketball has yet another spot to fill on their roster ahead of the 2025-26 season, as freshman Jordann Dumont entered the transfer portal on Friday, April 18, per a report from Jamie Shaw of On3.
Dumont, who has yet to confirm the report via social media, appeared in 20 games for the Wildcats last season, averaging 6.6 minutes, 1.8 points and 0.8 rebounds in those contests. A 6-foot-8 forward out of Montreal, Quebec, Dumont retains three seasons of eligibility.
His departure leaves Villanova and new head coach Kevin Willard with at least five spots to fill on their roster this offseason. As of right now, Wildcats retain just two players who appeared in a game for them under Kyle Neptune, former walk-on Collin O’Toole and rising junior Tyler Perkins.
With less than a week to go in the initial transfer portal period, they could see even more shakeup on their roster.
The Wildcats have made waves in the transfer market in recent days, picking up Maryland center Braden Pierce, Grand Canyon forward Duke Brennan and JMU guard Bryce Lindsay on April 17 alone. Now, they have another spot to fill in an offseason of momentous change. That’s college basketball in 2025.
