Phillies affiliates went 0-4 on Tuesday, June 16 to open a new week of play; elsewhere in the system, top international signee Francisco Renteria hit his first home run as a member of the organization, clearing the fence on June 15. He’s now slashing .364/.462/.591 with a double, three triples and a homer through 12 games.

High-A Jersey Shore managed just three hits in a 2-1 loss, a home run from Carter Mathison and a Nick Biddison double among them. 2025 Phillies third round pick Cody Bowker pitched four scoreless innings in his BlueClaws debut, striking out six batters on 57 pitches.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley gave up two runs in the ninth on the way to a 5-3 loss, squandering the efforts of Felix Reyes (2-for-4 with a homer) and Carter Kieboom (2-for-4 with a double).

Double-A Reading had the tying run 180 feet away with one out in the ninth after a double from Alex Binelas, but a pair of strikeouts ended the comeback with a 6-5 loss. Raylin Heredia (2-for-3 with a bases loaded walk) and outfielder Pedro León (3-for-5 with a triple) put on strong performances at the plate. Both of them added a steal; Aroon Escobar logged two hits but got thrown out on the base paths twice.

Embattled starter Jean Cabrera managed to complete six innings on 84 pitches but allowed five runs. Single-A Clearwater took a 13-3 thrashing, two Matt Ferrara doubles one of the only highlights; second baseman Robert Phelps reached four times, drawing three walks alongside a single.
