Phillies Prospect Watch: Homer Streaks in Triple-A

Phillies minor league affiliates went 2-0 on Saturday, Sept. 12, winning a pair of back-and-forth thrillers.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley won 7-5. Catcher/designated hitter Payton Henry (2-for-4) and right fielder Gabriel Rincones Jr. (2-for-4 with a walk) homered for the second day in a row: catcher Paul McIntosh (1-for-3 with three walks) also cleared the fence.

Double-A Reading won 13-10, with six batters reaching base at least twice. Center fielder Pedro León (2-for-5) and left fielder Bryson Ware (1-for-3 with two walks) both homered. Shortstop and Phillies 2023 first round pick Aidan Miller played for the second day in a row, another step in his return from a back injury that cost him most of the 2026 season. Miller went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk; infielders Aroon Escobar (2-for-5 with a double), Raider Tello (3-for-5) and Carson DeMartini (2-for-3 with two walks) got on base early and often.

Mavis Graves allowed an unearned run, issuing a walk and striking out two batters in one inning as he dropped his ERA below 1.00. Wen-Hui Pan needed just nine pitches to complete the ninth and secure the save.
