Phillies affiliates went 2-1 on Thursday, Aug. 20, with right-hander Cody Bowker hitting the ground running in his first Double-A start, an 11-1 win for the Fightin Phils. Bowker, the Phillies’ 2025 third round pick, fired five innings of one-run ball, striking out six batters across 65 pitches. Shortstop Bryan Rincon went 4-for-6 with three doubles, and Raider Tello (3-for-5) and Bryson Ware (3-for-4 with a double and a walk) also racked up three hits. Nick Biddison (2-for-4 with a double), meanwhile, picked up his first extra base hit since promotion to Double-A in early August.

Triple-A Lehigh Valley won 7-5 behind a trio of extra base hits. 28-year-old center fielder Kameron Misner hit a two-run homer; left fielder Colby Thomas, a recent trade acquisition, went 3-for-5 with a triple, and Otto Kemp added a triple of his own. Dylan Moore hit two singles and walked twice, bringing in a pair of runs in the process.

High-A Jersey Shore saw their game postponed due to rain, while Single-A Clearwater lost 7-4. Phillies 2026 13th round pick Brayden Bakes homered, second baseman Nolan Beltran (2-for-3 with two walks) and center fielder Will Gasparino went 1-for-3 with two walks.

Elsewhere in the organization, outfielder Francisco Renteria went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in the Phillies’ Dominican Summer League affiliate’s pool play game. That continued a recent hot streak for the 17-year-old, as Renteria earned DSL player of the week honors on Aug. 16 after going 10-for-16 with three homers, five steals and seven walks.
