Villanova Women’s Basketball released their nonconference schedule on Monday, Aug. 11, giving Wildcats fans a glimpse of how the early stages of the 2025-26 season will progress.

As of right now, the nonconference schedule contains nine games. A typical women’s basketball regular season lasts 30 games, and the Wildcats will play 20 games against Big East foes, so they could add another matchup to the schedule between now and when the season starts.

Highlights include a Sunday, Nov. 9 game against VCU in Canada, Big Five matchups against Temple and La Salle, and a Monday, Dec. 1 road date at West Virginia, who made the Round of 32 last season. The Wildcats’ home opener and season opener will take place against Lafayette at the Finneran Pavilion at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the same day the men’s team kicks off their season against BYU in Las Vegas.
