Villanova Women’s Basketball offered 2027 wing Sydney Marshall on Tuesday, Aug. 5, per an announcement from Marshall’s Twitter account.

The offer came after the rising junior, who attends The Kinkaid School in Houston, made an official visit to the Wildcats.

Marshall stands 5-foot-10 and also holds offers from Wake Forest, Princeton, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech and SMU. She earned a 16U All-EYBL First Team nod after taking part in the Nike prep tournament this summer, which could help vault her into the spotlight.

During the tournament, Marshall displayed her ability to nail clutch shots, contested jumpers and three-pointers, doing a little of everything as is expected of a wing in this era of basketball.
