Villanova Offers Top 5 2027 Recruit

Villanova Men’s Basketball offered a top ten player in the Class of 2027, small forward Ryan Hampton out of Dynamic Prep in Dallas, Tex., on Wednesday, June 4.
Hampton stands 6-foot-6 and weighs 190 pounds, a five star recruit per ESPN who ranks as high as No. 2 nationally. He primarily came off the bench as a sophomore in Dynamic Prep’s loaded lineup, but the flashes Hampton shows have recruiting sites ready to buy stock now.
His older brother, RJ Hampton, was a five star recruit who opted to begin his professional career immediately rather than spending time as a one-and-done.
The younger Hampton already has offers from Arizona State, Auburn, Tennessee and Kentucky, among others. Needless to say, Villanova will face stiff competition in their bid to secure his commitment… but with two years left in his high school career, anything can happen.
Hampton’s offer announcement cited Wildcats’ head coach Kevin Willard and assistant Kevin Norris as two of the staff members in contact with him.
