Phillies Prospect Watch: Aidan Miller Succeeds in the Fall League
The 2026 Arizona Fall League schedule began on Saturday, Oct. 3, and with it nine Phillies minor leaguers have a chance to hone their skills during the offseason. The vast majority of them are suited up for the Surprise Saguaros, affiliated with the Phillies and four other big league organizations; catcher Luke Davis, on the other hand, is playing for the Scottsdale Scorpions.
Through the first four games of the fall league season, Phillies prospects have had mixed results. Right-hander Keegan Batka gave up two earned runs in one inning on Oct. 4; Estibenzon Jimenez secured the save later that day with two strikeouts in a clean inning, while Penn product Ryan Dromboski covered 3.1 scoreless innings in relief on Oct. 5, fanning one batter and landing 33 of 57 pitches for strikes.
Kevin Warunek, the Phillies’ lone lefty pitching in the fall league, allowed one run in one inning on Oct. 6.
At the plate, catcher Kehden Hettiger is 3-for-8 with a double and two walks. Shortstop and 2023 first round pick Aidan Miller (3-for-7 with four walks) is also getting on base the majority of the time, while Davis is 0-for-3 with three free passes.
Dante Nori (2-for-10 with a triple) and Aroon Escobar (1-for-8 with a walk) have both struggled so far: Jose Peña Jr., who landed on the 60-Day Injured List midway through the 2026 season, is the only Phillies’ prospect active in the fall league who has yet to appear in a game… but with another month to go in the season, he has plenty of time to end the year on a high note.
