Villanova Women’s Basketball’s 2026-27 Big East Schedule Released

The Big East unveiled their women’s basketball schedule for the 2026-27 season on Thursday, Sept. 17, cementing where and when Villanova will play this academic year.

The Wildcats will open their season at 12 p.m. EDT in Rome, Italy on Sunday, Nov. 1, facing Notre Dame in the Eternal City Tip-Off. Per their out-of-conference schedule released earlier this offseason, Villanova will host Merrimack in their home opener on Nov. 12; their Big East opener will come at home against DePaul on Dec. 3, days before the Philadelphia Big 5 Classic. Other key dates include games at home against UConn (Dec. 23) and on the road against the Huskies (Feb. 10), who beat Villanova in the conference title game last season. The Big East Tournament will run from March 5 to 8, taking place at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. as in recent years.
