Villanova Football released kickoff times for their 2026 home schedule on Thursday, June 11, including a change of date for their Patriot League and season opener against William & Mary, bumped forward a day to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28.

Both the Tribe and the Wildcats moved from the CAA to the Patriot League this offseason; after finishing near the top of the CAA over the past few seasons, the early matchup will force Villanova to ramp things up immediately instead of finding their footing with an easier early season matchup.

After their game against the Tribe, the Wildcats will play a three-game road trip at Bucknell, another Patriot League foe; at Louisville, a buy game with a reported $500,000 payout, and at Long Island.

After that the meat of their conference schedule will begin. Here’s what we know so far as the Wildcats try to build on last season’s run to the FCS semifinals.

Game 1: versus William & Mary, 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 (Conference)
Game 2: at Bucknell, 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5 (Conference)
