Villanova Men’s Basketball will face Wisconsin on Friday, Dec. 19 at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, per an announcement from the team’s social media accounts. The game will count as a neutral site matchup, which will make it less advantageous to Villanova in the NET rankings. Joe Lunardi projects the Badgers as a No. 6 seed this season, so it will likely remain as a Quadrant 1 game.

News broke in May that the Wildcats would face the Badgers in the road leg of a home-and-home series this upcoming season. Villanova will host Wisconsin during the 2026-27 campaign.

The Wildcats will likely play at least one other game at the Fiserv Forum, home of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, this upcoming season, as Big East foe Marquette plays a portion of their home games there.

This will mark the third meeting all-time between the two teams. Wisconsin ended Villanova‘s chance at title defense in 2017 when they knocked off the Wildcats in the Round of 32.

Other matchups in Villanova’s 11 game non conference schedule include Big 5 dates against Temple and La Salle, a Multiple Team Event against Duquesne, Sacred Heart and Queens, a home date against Old Dominion, a road game at Michigan and a neutral site match up against BYU in their season opener.
