Villanova Football receivers coach Nate Pagan joined the Kansas City Chiefs as an offensive assistant and quality control coach, per Pagan’s Instagram profile.

Pagan spent nine seasons with the Wildcats, beginning as an offensive assistant. His recruiting duties covered parts of the city Villanova Football receivers coach of Philadelphia, parts of Atlanta, and the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. He also coached two of the top receivers in Villanova history, Jearon Hayek and Rayjuon Pringle.

The Chiefs have won three Super Bowls since 2020 and made it to two more, but their offense has stagnated in recent seasons despite that winning track record. Pagan will have to work his way up in the organization, just as he did at Villanova, but bringing new voices into the room makes sense for Kansas City.

His departure adds another hole for the Wildcats to fill after a run to the FCS semifinals in 2025.
