Villanova Men’s Basketball Announces 2026 Summer Jam

Villanova Men’s Basketball will host a practice session open to the public at the Finneran Pavilion at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 27. The Wildcats announced the event, titled Summer Jam, on July 9: tickets start at $20 for adults.

Previous renditions of Summer Jam included Wildcats alumni coming back to the Main Line to take part in a scrimmage. Since the start of the Kevin Willard era, the event has consisted of an open practice and an opportunity for autographs.

The era of the transfer portal makes summer practices even more critical for coaches and players alike, giving them a chance to learn how to play together and an opportunity to feel out their strengths and weaknesses. Summer Jam will extend that opportunity to the fans as well, giving a first look at the nine new faces on Villanova Men’s Basketball’s 2026-27 roster.

After that, the Wildcats will likely take part in their preseason Hoops Mania event and a pair of  exhibition games before their season begins in Rome on Sunday, Nov. 1.
