Villanova Football Offers 2026 Recruit, All-State Receiver
Villanova Football offered 2026 recruit Brandon DeAngelo, a wide receiver out of Pope John Paul II High School, per an announcement from DeAngelo’s Twitter (X) account.
A 5-foot-10, 170 pound prospect, DeAngelo earned All-State honors at receiver, hauling in 61 passes for 729 yards and nine touchdowns. He also played defensive back.
DeAngelo’s recruiting began to pick up in the last week, as he earned an offer from New Hampshire on Jan. 15, the day after his Villanova offer. The Wildcats have some consistency in their receiver room, as rising sophomore Braden Reed developed into a dependable target down the stretch last season, but the graduation of players like Luke Colella and Lucas Kopecky means someone will need to account for those targets in 2026.
Villanova lost 35 players from their 95-man roster to graduation or the transfer portal this offseason. They’ve managed to fill 15 of those spots to date, but still have plenty of work to do in recruiting and scouting the portal.
