Villanova University’s fall semester will end on Friday, Dec. 19 when the final exam period concludes, one day before Villanova Football hosts their FCS semifinal game against Illinois State.

That game will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the university typically closes their residence halls at 12 p.m. the day after finals end. As an incentive to get fans in the stands with a trip to the national championship game on the line, however, the football team announced that students can apply to extend their on-campus housing another 24 hours, giving them a place to stay after the game takes place.

Students can acquire tickets for free via the Villanova Athletics Student Ticketing App.

The Wildcats last made the semifinals in 2010. The last time they hosted a semifinal game came the year prior, when they won their first-ever FCS championship.
