Phillies Prospect Watch: Dante Nori Finds Footing in Fall League
Phillies prospects have started to heat up at the plate over the past two weeks of the Arizona Fall League, with Dante Nori, Aidan Miller and catcher/first baseman Luke Davis all playing regularly and raking since Wednesday, Oct. 21.
Nori (9-for-19 with eight walks, a double, two triples and four steals) is amidst one of his best stretches all year after an injury-plagued regular season. Miller (8-for-22 with 11 walks, two doubles, a triple, five steals and a caught stealing) continues to see the ball exceptionally well after missing almost all of 2026 with a nagging back injury; Davis (7-for-17 with seven walks, a double, a homer, two steals and an error) has an OPS north of 1.000 after a modest year at the plate with High-A Jersey Shore.
Infielder Aroon Escobar (5-for-12 with three walks and two doubles) is another prospect putting on a strong performance after an up-and-down 2026 season, one where he was expected to show off his power. Catcher Kehden Hettiger (2-for-12 with two walks, a double and an error), meanwhile, went through a cold spell.
Phillies pitching prospects also had an up-and-down stretch. Estibenzon Jimenez got lit up for five runs in the final inning of a blowout loss, although he rebounded with two strikeouts in a scoreless frame on Nov. 2. Keegan Batka (1.1 innings, three strikeouts) loaded the bases with one out on Oct. 29, but Phillies’ lefty Kevin Warunek (1.2 innings pitched, one earned run and four strikeouts) fanned a pair to get him out of the jam. Penn graduate Ryan Dromboski allowed four runs in three innings on Oct. 27, his lone appearance in the last two weeks.
