Villanova Men’s Basketball’s 2025-26 Big East Schedule
The Big East Conference released their full 2025-26 men’s basketball schedule on Thursday, Sept. 11, including all 20 games the Villanova Wildcats will play during their conference slate.
The schedule drop confirmed dates already made public via reports from Jon Rothstein, including a Tuesday, Dec. 23 road date against Seton Hall in the Wildcats’ conference opener, and a Thursday, Dec. 31 home game against the DePaul Blue Demons, their first Big East game at the Finneran Pavilion this season. That game against the Pirates will mark head coach Kevin Willard’s first game against his former team, as he coached Seton Hall from 2010 to 2022.
Other highlights include home games against Creighton (Jan. 7), St. John’s (Jan. 17), Marquette (Feb. 10), UConn (Feb. 21) and Xavier (March 7), all of whom made the NCAA Tournament last season. As of right now, starting time for the games hasn’t been announced.
The games against UConn and St. John’s will take place at the XFinity Mobile Arena, formerly known as the Wells Fargo Center, while their road date at UConn will take place at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford rather than in Storrs. The Wildcats will also face the Red Storm at Madison Square Garden.
