Villanova Football is hitting the recruiting trail, with assistant coaches traveling the Eastern Seaboard and visiting high schools in pursuit of future commitments. Recent visits include 2027 running backs Nasir Macon (Mays Landing, N.J.) and Langston Obuobi-Donkor (Greenwich, Conn.) along with 2027 ATH Melvin Zabaleta (Wood-Ridge, N.J.).

Macon stands six feet tall and weighs 185 pounds, and it was Wildcats’ offensive line coach Sean Devine who paid him a visit; Obuobi-Donkor checks in at 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds. He tweeted to thank Villanova linebackers coach Forrest Rhyne for visiting him at Greenwich Country Day School, but it’s unclear whether the visit was for him specifically or Rhyne putting out feelers for the school as a whole.

Zabaleta stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 215 pounds, spending time at outside linebacker and tight end as a junior. Rhyne also visited Danbury High School (Conn.), with their head coach, Augie Tieri, thanking him for the visit in a tweet. The Wildcats still have 15 spots to fill on their 95-man roster ahead of the 2026 season.
