Villanova Football earned the commitment of 2026 defensive back/ATH Jack DeMenna on Monday, Sept. 9, per an announcement from DeMenna’s social media accounts.

DeMenna stands 5-foot-9 and tips the scale at 190 pounds, a safety who also has experience at cornerback. Playing at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J., DeMenna has three interceptions, including a pick six, in two games to begin his senior season.

Per a football camp hosted at Fairleigh Dickinson in June 2025, DeMenna can hit a maximum speed of 22.14 miles per hour, giving him excellent speed to stick with wide receivers or close to break up a pass. His ability to play multiple positions in the secondary should help him earn playing time early and often with the Wildcats, whether they decide to use him in a set role or deploy him as a Swiss Army knife.

With football season in full swing, expect Villanova Football to step up their recruiting efforts ahead of the December signing period. Click here for a look at other Wildcats’ commits in the class of 2026.
