Villanova football earned the commitment of 2026 cornerback/ATH prospect Jordan “Jet” Taylor on Tuesday, June 24, per a post to his Twitter (X) account.

Despite the ATH designation, used in high school recruiting to indicate players who have the versatility to play at more than one position, Taylor’s post listed him as a defensive back, indicating where the Wildcats expect him to play. He also tagged Villanova cornerbacks coach Dustin Johnson in the post.

Taylor stands six feet tall and weighs 175 pounds, an athletic talent who logged a 40 inch vertical, 4.45 second 40-yard dash and an 11-foot-1 broad jump, per recent testing. He’s a rising senior at Maryland’s North Point High School, where he won a state championship in 2024.

The Wildcats offered Taylor in May 2025: he also received offers from Lehigh, Lafayette and Delaware State, among others.

Villanova Football has picked up a series of commitments in the class of 2026 in recent weeks, including ATH Abu Fofana, offensive lineman Patrick Degnan and edge rusher Colin Gurley: click here for more Wildcats recruiting news.
